WEDDING PASS FOR NON-HARD ROCK HOTEL GUESTS
Price for 2012 is $91.00 USD per person staying at any other resort other than where the ceremony is taking place.
Note: Non-Hard Rock Hotel wedding guests are required to purchase a wedding pass. Hard Rock Hotel reserves the right to limit the number of day passes sold once the property has reached its maximum capacity.
Private functions areas are based upon availability. Due to notice restrictions, private events held in outdoor locations must end by 10:30PM. Indoor private events will incur an additional cost if they pass 12AM.
Private functions, religious ceremonies and music services must be reserved at least 60 days prior to the wedding date. Restrictions apply to outdoor functions. Please ask your wedding coordinator for details. Certain private event locations may have additional setup fees associated. All wedding collections must be reserved in advance. The complimentary package will not apply if requested onsite. All reservations must be booked at least seven (7) days prior to arrival. Mexican registry office is open from Monday through Friday only - no civil ceremonies can be performed on Sundays.
Photography packages are ready within 72 business hours after the ceremony. For couples leaving the day after the wedding, there will be a mailing fee of approximately $69.00 USD. Selected photography packages may require additional time.
Wedding passes for 2012 are $91.00 USD per person, per day and must be purchased for guests not staying at the hotel. Wedding passes are not guaranteed for purchase only on ceremony date. The resort will allow the purchase of wedding passes up to a maximum of 20% of the total number of guests. Example: If you have 20 guests, only 20% of that total can purchase wedding passes, in this case, only 4 guests are able to purchase wedding passes. Wedding passes are subject to availability depending on the occupancy level of the resort. Wedding passes are valid until 11pm and guests with wedding passes must exit the resort by 11 pm. No exceptions may be made.
Outside vendor services (Florists, decor company, audio visual companies, entertainers, etc.) are not permitted on premises. We will provide our couples with a variety of in-house vendors to choose from. A $500 USD fee will apply to outside photographers. (Fee applies for each external photographer in the case where there is more than one).
DRESS CODE: Formal or semi-formal, no shorts or bathing suits. Groom may wear dressy shorts for ceremony only. For selected restaurants formal dress code applies.
PAYMENT POLICY 2012
Payment policy for Wedding Collections: A 50% deposit of the complete package is required 14 days after wedding date is confirmed. Final payment is due 45 days prior to ceremony. Non-refundable if cancelled 30 days prior to wedding date. VISA, Mastercard & American Express are accepted. Personal checks are not acceptable at the resort.

We are happy to have you celebrate one of the most important days of your life with us, and we want to help make your celebration even better! Hard Rock Hotel Cancun is pleased to offer the happy couple great incentives when booking your reservation with us. Group Benefits below are contingent based on a signed Group Contract of a minimum of 5 rooms with initial deposit.
COMPLIMENTARY ROOM NIGHTS*
The Bride and Groom will receive one (1) complimentary room night for every ten (10) room nights paid up to seven (7) room nights.
Bride and Groom will receive one (1) complimentary room upgrade to the next available room category (up to Concierge Level) when booking 25 rooms or more. (Reservations must have a minimum of 3 nights or equivalent to 75 room nights, subject to availability. If the Bride and Groom have already booked a Concierge Level room or a Suite, then they will have the option to pass the "upgrade" to a family member for the same number of nights booked.)
• 5 to 9 rooms for 3 nights or 15 room nights = One (1) cocktail reception for one (1) hour
• 10 to 19 rooms for 3 nights for 15 room nights = One (1) private function for two (2) hours
• 20 to 24 rooms for 3 nights or 75 room nights = One (1) private function for three (3) hours (may be a cocktail reception and dinner)
•25 + rooms or 75 room nights = Two (2) private functions for three (3) hours (may be a cocktail reception and dinner and may not be held on the same day)
*A surcharge of $10 per person, per night will apply for complimentary stays for taxes and gratuities. Room nights qualify from reservations booked through one source when paying the contracted group rate and confirmed at Hard Rock Hotel Cancun. Complimentary room nights are awarded on room category booked up to Concierge Level. In the event that the Bride and Groom would like to upgrade to a higher category, a credit will be issued based on the rate/room category originally paid.
**Locations for private functions will be confirmed 30 days in advance for groups of 50 guests or more or 35 rooms for 3 nights. If minimum requirement is not met, confirmation of location will be assigned at the resort at time of arrival and will be subject to availability. These Wedding Group Benefits apply for new bookings made after August 1, 2012.
